Peter Kunoff, DVM - Veterinarian and Practice Owner

Dr. Kunoff has been with Ypsilanti Animal Clinic since May 2001. A native of Bloomington, Indiana, he was awarded a B.S. in Biology with honors from Indiana University in 1993. He attended Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine and earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. He has a professional interest in ophthalmology.

By and large, Dr. Kunoff is known for his empathy for all his patients. “I like developing relationships with clients and helping them with their care from young to old.”

Dr. Kunoff is a member of the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

When not in practice, Dr. Kunoff enjoys disc golf, golf, skateboarding, and gardening. His Chihuahuas Margo and Agnes keep him on his toes. He also has two Lab mixes named Louie and Darla and three cats named Milton, Jade, and Paulie Walnuts.

Cindy Kalicki, DVM, Relief Veterinarian

Dr. Kalicki’s goal is to become your family’s “other family doctor.” She thrives on transforming challenging cases into successful treatments and is able to utilize diverse treatment plans for each patient, keeping in mind their unique needs. Dr. Kalicki attended Michigan State University for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Kalicki has been working with us since 2003 and has been employed in animal-related fields since 1988. Asked why she loves working for Ypsilanti Animal Clinic, she says, “The clientele is so diverse, allowing for a varied experience with every visit.”

She has a 12-year-old Labrador mix named Daisy and a five-year-old cat named Simon. When she’s not working, Dr. Kalicki loves reading, gardening, crafts, shopping, and horseback riding.
